In celebration of Pi Day, one of our contributors ran the recently released CASS Framework Manager on a Raspberry Pi 3.

The Raspberry Pi 3, shown below, is a low-power educational computer designed for classrooms. While it is about the size of a deck of cards, it still features all the components of a traditional computer.

The Raspberry Pi 3 may technically be a computer, but it's no powerhouse. It operates on a quad core 1.2GHZ ARM processor and a single GB of ram. In contrast, a typical smartphone has at least 2 GB.

The installation process for the required software was straightforward, but strained the memory footprint of this tiny machine. Some corners had to be cut, but we got it working!

More proof that good things can come in small packages. Happy Pi Day!
